NCGA Announces Yield Contest Winners
The National Corn Yield Contest Winners have been announced by the National Corn Growers Association. The winning yields range from 351 to 232 bushels per acre.
Dow Milestone Puts End To Environmental Pollution
Dow AgroSciences intends to save us from “Pushed together, the most notorious noxious and invasive plants, like spotted knapweed, Canada thistle, musk thistle, yellow starthistle and tropical soda apple, would cut a swath about 80 miles wide from Los Angeles to New York City. NAFB Changes Name
Farm broadcasters were busy last week at their convention. NAFB, Executive Director, Bill O’Neill just sent out a report that announces the change in the organization’s name. It’s now the National Association of Farm Broadcasting. This was done he says to better represent the “full inclusion of agribusinesses, marketing and communications agencies, farm organizations, and all “allied” providers who are integral to the business and marketplace of farm and rural lifestyle broadcasting.”
