I hope Cindy doesn’t read this post since it’s about a new online computer game called Combine Combat. It’s created by Successful Farming and John Deere. I played through all 4 levels. My first time final score was 407,494. How’s that stack up against your score? I can see in there user forum that a couple people have gotten higher that 600,000. I wonder who’s tops.
Bringing Internet Access To Rural America
I’m back. It’s been a long day of blogging, teaching blogging and demonstrating AgNewsWire. I promised to post some audio though and here it is. I decided to post Tim Ganschow’s (Agristar Global Networks) complet presentation today on “Bringing Internet Access To Rural America.” You sure can’t find a subject more near and dear to my heart.
Are Older Farmers Using The Internet More?
I’ve been meaning to post this for a few days. You get busy, the emails pile up, you know how it is. After reading this article on MarketingVox I wonder how the same study would apply to farmers.
Bugs Have Been Bugging Me Today
I had hoped to have some more items posted today but thanks to a bug on my main notebook computer that hasn’t been possible. If I could find the person who created this bug I’d love to “pinch his little head off” as a good friend of mine likes to say.
ZimmComm Blog Sponsors Announced
We’re going to send out a news release on this but I’m too excited to wait. As some of you may have noticed earlier this week on AgWired, we have new sponsors coming on board World Dairy Diary.
The AgWired Frappr Map
As if I didn’t have anything else to do but play around with something that I’m guessing is almost completely worthless, you can now check out the AgWired Frappr Map. What is it? I’m not really sure. Just another experiment in internet social communication.
Canadian Farmer Web Auction Business
Here’s a great ZimmCast to end the year with on AgWired. I’ve brought Global Auction Guide.com to your attention before and finally got to interview president Dwayne Leslie. Dwayne is a farmer who got into the internet business to provide his fellow farmers with information and products he needed and knew they would want as well.
Is Email Spam Increasing or Decreasing
I’m curious if you’d agree with the FTC that email spam is levelling off or actually declining. I saw this story a few days ago right after I’d received about 5 emailed viruses (Norton Internet Security took care of them) and another 20+ pure unadulterated spam emails. It seems to me like the level has been increasing the last month.
