After having just written about the whole website statistics thing a couple days ago, I came across a notice about the Emetrics Summit coming up in San Fransisco in May. I just thought I’d pass it along in case you want to find out more about this issue. I view the analysis of website statistics to be an art form …
Website Metrics Questions
As the audience for AgWired has grown so has the need for us to keep close tabs on how we measure it. You’ve started seeing more advertising and sponsored event coverage and those companies and organizations want to know what they’re getting for their investment. One of my online mentors pointed me to a pretty well-written AP story on this …
AgTalk Welcomes Farmers Online
AgTalk welcomes farmers who are looking for a little help from their friends. I was unaware of AgTalk until reading an AP story sent in by alert AgWired reader, Gary Truitt. This looks like an online forums spot that’s been up and running for quite some time. I don’t know much beyond what you can see but maybe I can …
iPhone Now Available
Don’t think I didn’t hear the announcement today of the iPhone. MacWorld Expo is going on and Steve Jobs made the announcement. If you think this is just a neat looking new cell phone then think again. It’s a widescreen iPod, phone and internet communications device. It’s almost enough to make me want to switch from Sprint to Cingular since …

FarmWebDesigners
I don’t think I’ve ever done a post on FarmWebDesign although Jane Eckert mentioned it in a ZimmCast interview. Jane is the agritourism expert and she’s now been in the web design business for a while with a focus on farms.
Research Beef Online
As if the Beef Checkoff doesn’t have enough websites, now there’s one more. I’m really not sure I understand the philosophy behind the whole multiple website strategy. This one focuses on research. You can find a lead-in site to all of them at Beef.org (16 just for the Checkoff).
Give Me Broadband For Christmas
How many of you remember when most households didn’t have a television set or even a radio? It wasn’t that long ago. A new estimate by the folks at eMarketer shows that when it comes to broadband internet access we’re fast approaching a saturation level. Are you making sure your communications strategy is geared up for this?
Get The AgriEdge
The online world continues to grow. This time it’s Syngenta with another website. This one’s for their AgriEdge program.
New Homestead Feeds Website
It looks like Hubbard Feeds has a new website.
