“The goal at The Rock Ranch is to create an opportunity for families to spend quality time together and provide educational and entertaining programs that create positive life memories,” said Jeff Manley, director of The Rock Ranch. “Throughout the years, we’ve learned to blend our love of agriculture with entertainment to keep people interested and involved in a way of life that our grandparents knew well, but now is in danger of being forgotten.”

The theme this year for The Rock Ranch’s popular corn maze is “Get Lost in a Good Book.” Guests will be able to literally “Get Lost” in reading themed maze where they can attempt a scavenger hunt for popular book titles and authors hidden in the maze. All guests are encouraged to donate a new or used children’s book upon entry which will be redistributed to needy children. To promote childhood literacy, The Rock Ranch has partnered with the Ferst Foundation, an organization that provides 1 free book per month until age 5 for children who enroll. Through this partnership, The Rock Ranch hopes to encourage more counties to participate in this organization and as a result, send more children to kindergarten with a knowledge of books, a love of reading and strong relationship skills that develop when a child is read to by a parent.

General admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under (children under 3 are free). Admission includes all activities and attractions. Discount coupons are available at participating Chick-fil-A locations through Nov. 3. The Rock Ranch is open each Saturday from Sept. 15 to Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
