We had a second winner today at our NAMA booth. That’s two tractors and counting.
I didn’t not get our winners name. If you know can you post it in a comment?
The tractors are supplied by AgriMarketing Magazine.

NAMA’s opening general session speaker today was James Canton, Institute For Global Futures. He spoke on the “extreme future.”
You’ll have to listent to him explain that. One thing he believes is that communicators will need to use the internet and especially wireless devices like mobile phones and that includes farmers.

NAMA’s Agribusiness Leader of the Year is George Thornton, Agriliance.
He was presented the award this morning during the opening general session. George sees a bright future for agribusiness.
He explains what the award means to him in a short interview I did after the session.

It’s time to head off to the general sessions here at NAMA. I don’t have a list of all the student chapters who are in the finals but I know that my alma mater team is in. That would be The Florida Gators. I’ll try to find out more.

One of the highlights of the annual NAMA convention trade show is the Agri Marketing Magazine toy tractors you have a chance to win.
Each booth gets one with a number on it and each registrant gets a number. We had a winner today. He’s Robert Bulman, BCG Communications, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Congrats Robert. Now if I could just find #304 . . .
Not to confuse you or anything but it was a Cindy afternoon.
This is Cyndi, Cindy and Cindy. You guess their last names.
You know it’s going to be a good party when the Cindys are here.
The Best of NAMA Awards is over. It was a very well done event with a great reception afterwards.
There’s way too many awards to try to list here. A list will be published by Agri Marketing Magazine.
However, to give you a little taste of what the ceremony is like I shot a short video clip.

The NAMA Conference is underway here in Kansas City. Cindy and I are jazzed.
It’s NAMA Connection Point time and we’re set up and ready for business.
Feel free to stop by.
Speaking of Diane Johnson, Details By Design. She’s very involved here at the NAMA Conference. She’s doing the legwork on NAMA Connections Point (the trade show).
She’s was also very involved with the Chapter Leaders Workshop, where she’s seen pictured prior to the start this morning.
Before the workshop kicked off I asked her why she’s jazzed about NAMA.
