The meeting’s over. A few people are still hanging around chatting. We had a group of about 30 agrimarketing professionals gather to learn a little bit more about blogging, podcasting and RSS. It takes about 45 minutes to go over the basics, looking at examples and then leave a few minutes for questions and answers.
Midlands NAMA Meeting In Progress
Here we are at the Midlands NAMA Meeting in Ashland, NE.
Midlands NAMA Board Meets
They got here early to do their work – the Midlands NAMA board. Good board attendance! They’re currently talking about their golf tournament.
Windy At The Oaks
I’m going to write several posts from Quarry Oaks Golf Club, where I’m going to be giving a presentation to the Midlands NAMA chapter in just a little while. I wanted to play 18 holes first but just didn’t have time and with the wind today I’m almost glad I didn’t. Almost.
Blogging 101 Coming To Midlands NAMA
If you’re in the Omaha area tomorrow plan to attend the Midlands NAMA meeting. I’ll be giving a presentation I call Blogging 101. The meeting will be at 3pm at Quarry Oaks Clubhouse. Directions are on the NAMA website.
FAPRI Outlook For Agriculture
The Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute (FAPRI) at the University of Missouri analyzes U. S. and world agricultural policies and makes predictions. FAPRI program directors, Scott Brown and Patrick Westhoff made a presentation summaryizing many of their commodity outlooks at today’s Gateway NAMA chapter meeting which was held in conjunction with the St. Louis AgriBusiness Club.
Jerry Gets The Desert Scene
I’ve been to several trade shows this year and until this week only received 1 notice about who won something given away at a trade show booth. I think it’s a nice follow-up touch and for that reason worth posting here. This one was an email message from Grant Heilman Photography.
NAMA New Year Brings New Leaders
NAMA has announced a new slate of leaders for its new year which began May 1. Although I’m only posting the Executive Committee here you can find the full list in the latest issue of the National NAMA E-News.
Brown + Associates Blazed New Horizons
If only there were enough time to post them all. But then again no one else has sent their NAMA awards information. See the end of this post for more on where to find them all.
Eat A Little Seafood – Plan A NAMA Chapter
The Gateway NAMA Chapter leaders (some of them anyway) met for lunch today to begin planning for next year. It was a lunch meeting at Bristol’s in St. Louis. Good seafood. I’m getting ready to go work it off at the gym.
