Hello in real time from St. Louis and the joint Gateway NAMA/St. Louis Agribusiness Club meeting. I’m here in Clayton where we’ll have a nice program featuring our Secretary of Agriculture, Mike Johanns. I’ll record his comments for you and try to get a private interview as well.
NAMA Agribusiness Forum
Right before the NAFB Convention again this year is the NAMA Agribusiness Forum. It’s not too early to start making plans. This is going to be a challenge for me since opening day of Missouri deer season is the Saturday before the Forum. Normally I’d be in the woods through Tuesday so we’ll see what happens. Depends on how good the hunting is those first few days!
Badger NAMA Announces Leaders
One NAMA chapter is sending out news releases. That’s how you know who’s who, eh? Tom is the prez so he gets his picture posted!
Let’s Think Big In Dallas
I’m ready to Think Big after being on a NAMA Convention Steering Committee conference call Monday. That’s the theme of next year’s conference.
I’m leading the Trade Show Committee and hope to have our first committee conference call soon. If you’re a regular exhibitor or have considered it, I’d love your thoughts and input.

Last year I did a blogging and podcasting session. This year I’ll be out blogging and podcasting for an agricultural client during those dates on their blog!
Working On A New Connection Point
I have just
been talked into agreed to chair the 2007 Agri-Marketing Conference Trade Show committee. We want to make it even more of a Connection Point for you.
NAMA On RFD-TV
Did you miss the NAMA convention this year? Wonder what the awards ceremony is like? Then watch it on tv.
The AdFarm Red Truck Team
In case you missed it at the NAMA Conference, AdFarm had their red pickup truck on display. Here’s why:
Ken Dean Says “Wow”
What a difference a bunch of advocates can make. Ken Dean, High Plains Journal, led an effort to promote and grow membership in the National Agri-Marketing Association this past year. He just sent out a note to all of us which I think shows what can happen when we try:
Doing The Brownfield Boogie
I did make it to the Brownfield reception at last week’s NAMA Conference but without my camera. That’s a rare thing with this blogger. But I was promised a picture and it just showed up in my inbox.
