Posting will be kind of sporadic here in the next 2 weeks. At least I think so. This AASHTO cross country convoy is a busy day of activities. You can read a lot more about it on Domestic Fuel. Anyway, one of the things I’m going to be doing is a thing I’m going to label, “Dueling Satellite Radios.” I’ll have more on this but you’ll hear about it in the video clip I’ve got for you here. I mention it because it’s “new media” and I’ve got a great interview coming up for you this weekend with a VP from XM Satellite Radio. You probably know I’m a Sirius subscriber but I’ve also got XM in the truck I’m driving so it’s going to be a cross country side-by-side comparison and I wonder who will win.
E85 Observations from the Road
It’s about time to hit the blogging trail again. This time on a cross country interstate highway celebration tour. How’s this look for an “ethanol advocate?” That’s me. Ethanol Can’t Lose
Well I don’t have all the facts but the Ethanol Car hit the wall and went out of the race in lap 152.
Indy 500 Underway
Just in case you haven’t been looking at Domestic Fuel I’ll give you this post from the start of the Indy 500 today. I’ll have more later today or tomorrow depending on what happens during the race (or the finish!).
Farmer Cooperatives Marketing E85
The big announcement from MFA Oil and Mid Missouri Energy was made this morning as we reported earlier this week. Pictured are members of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, along with Phil Lampert (NEVC), Ryland Utlaut (Mid-Missouri Energy) and Jerry Taylor (MFA Oil) in a ribbon-cutting ceremony signifying the launch of the partnership.
Pit Stop Competition
I’ll leave you today with a short video clip of one of the highlight events here on Carb Day at Indy. It’s the Checkers/Rally’s Pit Stop Competition.
