Hope You Like Canned Tuna
I’d be interested to know your thoughts on the whole bird flu pandemic scare. Apparently the U. S. Dept. of Health & Human Services thinks it’s for real. They just issued new recommendations for people to get ready. According to a release by the U. S. Tuna Foundation that recommendation includes stocking up on canned tuna.
Do Aliens Say “Got Milk”
We already brought you Alien Cow Adbuction, now it’s Brittlactica: Planet In Need. You can watch episodes once you get into the website. Basically these alien dudes have found the “white wonder tonic” (milk) on a planet called Earth where the supreme one is named “Da Iry,” pronounced Da’ ee-ray.
What’s Blue, French and English
Here’s a new website to look at. The Canadian Belgian Blue Association is now online. It’s simple and has a unique multi-lingual functionality. When you visit the home page text is in English on the left and French on the right. So you’ve basically got a bi-lingual mirrored website. Nicely done folks. Lots of pictures. Loads fast. There is one little animated title thing but I can take that. Otherwise it’s information in short chunks that are easy to navigate to.

Driving to Minneapolis from Holts Summit, MO makes for one long day, especially if your email account goes on the fritz half way up and your Palm Treo turns into a “plain” mobile phone. It’s fixed now for any of you who had problems getting through to me this afternoon.
Give Me Summer Weather To Grill In
Cindy wanted me to barbeque something today but I’m not into “extreme barbeque.” At least not when it’s only in the teens outside. But the Cattlemen’s Beef Board wants us to think about grilling. They’re going to be firing up the Summer Grilling Campaign again.
LongHorn, Not The Long Tail
I will bet this is a very friendly group of people and would be a lot of fun to attend. It’s the Legacy II sale of the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America. They say that Texas longhorns are dressed up and ready for a night on the town and I believe it.
