Retired Journalism Prof Shows Arrogance
In the latest issue of the AAEA Byline (you’ve got to be a member to read it) there’s an article on ethics called “Beware The Ethics Swamp.” It’s written by Elaine Shein. I think this is a great subject to do a series of articles on.

Meet The New AAEA President
It’s the American Agricultural Editor’s Association new president right here on AgWired in our ZimmCast for this week. He’s Dan Crummett, Farm Progress Companies. I interviewed him right after he got sworn in at the recent Ag Media Summit. Dan talks about AAEA and why he thinks the organization has become stronger. He also discusses AAEA’s new strategic plan.

AAEA Has 5-Year Plan
The American Agricultural Editors Association has just finalized a new strategic plan. This has been a process in which members were given plenty of opportunity to have input. You can download and read the full plan here.

Ag Media Summit Photo Album
So if you weren’t able to attend the Agricultural Media Summit you can still get the flavor of it by visiting the articles that I posted this past week. This is one of those opportunities to use an AgWired category archive. In this case you can visit this link – Ag Media Summit Archive – and you’ll pull up all 30+ articles I did from both the Agricultural Relations Council Meeting and the AMS.
