- After more than 40 years with the Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association, Executive Vice President Bob Schnell will be retiring Dec. 31, 2009.
- The Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Timothy L. Buzby as Vice President – Chief Financial Officer of Farmer Mac, effective April 2, 2009.
- Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced the appointment of Burnham John “Bud” Philbrook as USDA’s Deputy Under Secretary for Farm and Foreign Agricultural Services (FFAS). Philbrook will largely have responsibility for the international side of the FFAS mission area.
