Hot off the press from Bayer CropScience. So hot I didn’t see it on their own website yet! It’s always news when a new product receives it’s EPA approval. In this case corn growers now have a new product in their arsenal.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. (May 5, 2005) –Bayer CropScience announced today registration of RADIUS™ Herbicide from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which means it is available to corn growers for the 2005 season.

“Corn growers now have a shot at true, one-pass weed control,” says Andrew Seitz, RADIUS Herbicide product manager with Bayer CropScience. RADIUS combines two powerful soil-applied active ingredients – flufenacet and isoxaflutole – offering growers the power of Recharge® with the flexibility of a tankmix in a convenient liquid premix.
