If you’re in the dairy business and have seen The Matrix then I hope you’ve got a sense of humor. This is funny. Actually it’s really a sad waste of misguided talent. It’s a Matrix film spoof to blast corporate farming called The Meatrix II. I never heard of it before but the group doing this claims the first one’s been downloaded over 10 million times and they’ve won awards for it. They are short animated movies.
This story is pretty cool so I had to share it beyond World Dairy Diary. Are you a fan of the Cow Parade? Here’s a cool way to keep up with the artists who are busy working on new cows. Some of them have their own blogs. Well, they’re mostly sort of blogs. My favorite is Rosemaling, the bottom one. The latest Moo-Town Moosletter lists the following:
Thanks to Andy over on World Dairy Diary for this one. This is worth a look. Here’s what he wrote:
I already introduced Andy Vance on World Dairy Diary and I’d like you to know about him too. That’s because he’s going to be a regular contributor to our dairy news blog.
One of the sponsors for our World Dairy Diary site is Accelerated Genetics. Janet Keller is the VP for Public Relations, Communications and Advertising. She talks about the company and some of the new projects they’re involved in.
I’ve always liked the Got Milk campaign. They seem to keep finding the stars to encourage people to drink milk. I’m wondering if this the next “Got Milk” ad? I would call this a rumor for now. I saw a story on Adrants that Elizabeth Hurley will be the new poster child for the campaign. Supposedly it will run in the upcoming Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and the copy will read, “(Gulp!) Shocked I’m a mom? You should know by now that milk’s nine essential nutrients make for one irresistible body.”
My favorite dessert is ice cream. I want to see these next to every soda machine in the country! MooBella machines. Freshly made ice cream when and where I want it. Even mixed with the toppings I want like cookies’n’cream and walnuts.
Proving once again that they are completely without brains or any moral compass, the folks at PETA have created a website to attack milk. If it wasn’t a good idea to know what the wackos are up to I sould suggest you just ignore it. It would almost be funny if they weren’t so ignorant and just plain disgusting.
If you’re sitting there wishing you had something interesting to watch, try these new Got Milk hispanic ads. They’re set to begin airing January 30. I think Adrants describes these spots right with the word “quirky.”
