In case you’re wondering if blogging is still all the rage you might want to look at some information from David Sifry, on the “State of the Blogosphere.” There’s a lot of blogging going on. In fact, we just created a new one for ZimmComm New Media. It will focus more on information like this and other things little ole ZimmComm is up to. But back to Sifry. He’s got some nice graphs you might want to look at. Here’s a summary of some of his findings:
Collect Cards To Exit
At the closing reception you had to find these guys and obtain one heart, spade, clover and diamond to get your take home gift on your way out from the reception.
BIO Dancer At Closing Reception
The closing reception was just as good as the others at BIO 2006.
PSP Giveaways Too
The iPod giveways were many at BIO’s trade show but don’t forget that there are other cool gadgets.
Not The Only Blogger
I just found out that I’m not the only blogger covering the BIO. Robert Chappell is blogging for the Crossroads Technology Report blog.
This just makes sense and I know we’re going to see more of it in the ag world.
More Reception Dancing
I did not get video of this either.
BIO Belly Dancing
I did not get video of this. Sorry.
Field Museum Reception
The Field Museum was the site of the second best reception I have ever attended. The BIO folks know how to recept.
Pony Express A Hit In MO at BIO
My home state is well represented here at BIO.
Russian TV Crew
Besides our own domestic ag journalists there has been a large (larger) contingent of foreign ag journalists.
