For the next several days I’ll be making a trip to South Florida to drive my daughter back home for a summer vacation from college. We’re going to take a couple days. I will have time to get agwired though never fear. In fact, I’m sure there will be some airport time later today.

Talk about blogging an event. You ought to check out the Sasol Chevron GTL Challenge diary. They have photos, a daily summary and video. I would have allowed public commenting but this is extremely well done. A lot of companies are seeing the value in this kind of direct to consumer media campaign. You’re seeing a lot of it here on AgWired and our other websites too. In fact, my travel schedule is really filling up this summer! Chevron has a whole team on this deal. Having a photographer and videographer with me would be nice. Think about it.

I’m sorry for the lack of posting so far today. This Clean Cities Congress is a busy place. In fact, it’s almost time to head to the closing reception. Alice Cooper’s Town should be interesting. It’s where rock & jocks meet.

The next post will probably be from the road somewhere between here and Phoenix for the Clean Cities Congress & Expo. These two good looking bloggerati will be helping me starting with our first meeting tomorrow afternoon at the Phoenix Convention Center. They’ll be posting with me on Domestic Fuel and I’ll bring you some interviews and information that I think you’ll like right here too.

I was just looking over some statistics from my recent coverage of the BIO 2006 Convention that I thought you might be interested in. These are only for AgWired since I did some posts on other ZimmComm blogs.

Oops, (yawn) I forgot about Earth Day. I guess that’s because America’s farmers and ranchers believe every day is earth day and it just doesn’t seem like that big of a deal. Who are better stewards of the land than the people who farm it?

We have a tremendous amount of original news content here on AgWired and our other news sites. So I figured that although Google search crawls us a lot, maybe Google news would too. No such luck.
