My friends at Lallemand know how to get my attention. This time it was with some great San Louis gourmet coffee from Alotenango, Guatemala. I can’t find a website for this coffee or the importer, Lankin Corporation, but if you can find it, it’s good! It’s farm fresh roasted and packed.
Canadian Farmer Web Auction Business
Here’s a great ZimmCast to end the year with on AgWired. I’ve brought Global Auction Guide.com to your attention before and finally got to interview president Dwayne Leslie. Dwayne is a farmer who got into the internet business to provide his fellow farmers with information and products he needed and knew they would want as well.
The FarmAssist.com Strike It Rich Promotion
I know the picture is kind of small but Syngenta is running a”33 Chances To Strike It Rich” promotion. The farmer in the picture is standing in a field and good old greenbacks are falling from the sky. Who wouldn’t want it to rain like that?
Why It’s A Wal-Mart Nation
I don’t know why I find this amazing but I do. It’s no wonder the report has a section titled, “Wal-Mart Nation.”
What’s New At The NK Brand

She said that of all the interviews she’d done so far that day no one had asked her the questions I had. Interesting. I hope you enjoy it.

Pioneer has upgraded and changed its GrowingPoint website beginning Monday (probably by the time you read this). Actually I think it’s already live. It works for me. Most changes of this magnitude seem to result in a better website. It’s something that just has to be done periodically.
Valley Cams Tracker SP Remote Controlled Irrigation
Here’s news from Valmont Irrigation about a new component of their remote controlled irrigation systems. I think it’s interesting because farmers need to be pretty savvy adopters of technology to use these things and they certainly do. For example, if there’s a problem with the system:
Learn From Users On LawnCafe
This is sort of related to agriculture. Have you ever wanted to start your own lawn care business? It’s how I made money in high school. I think I mowed about a gazillion yards. I think I wore out 3 or 4 lawn mowers in the process. This is actually about really making a business out of it and LawnCafe is a website that’s all user forum baby.
A Quick Lesson On Quickfarm
If you’re considering ZimmComm’s AgNewsWire.AgWired.com service you may be wondering about what we call the Quickfarm network. In fact, you may wonder just what Quickfarm is.
