Here’s the new logo for Mycogen Seeds. It’s their way of showing the close “alignment” with Dow AgroSciences.
Industry Leader Eileen Shay
Eileen Shay is now a leader. Actually as senior account executive for The Packer I’d guess she already was one. But now she’s graduated from United Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Association’s Produce Industry Leadership Program. She was one of 12 distinguished leaders from the produce industry to be part of the 2005-2006 class, and the first person from The Packer to participate.
Loehr Joins Bader Rutter
Bader Rutter announces the addition of Jill Loehr to the agency as an account supervisor.
Reaching Farmers By Mobile Phone
This week it’s time to talk about the phone, mobile phones to be precise. What better way to deliver information to farmers? Lots, you think? Think again. At least I think you will after you listen to this week’s ZimmCast.
IFAJ 2009 Logo
I know this logo says 2009. That’s because we’re already promoting the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists Congress which will be held in Ft. Worth, TX in 2009. New Holland CMA iPod Contest
You may remember that New Holland gave away a video iPod at Commodity Classic as part of their ongoing promotion with country music star, Michael Peterson. The iPod was pre-loaded with all my content from Classic (audio interviews, pictures and video of Michael’s performance). To say the contest was a hit would be to put it mildly.
Recorder For The Farm Podcaster
While I’m on podcasting. How long before you see your favorite farm podcaster sticking one of these in your face at a farm meeting? I’m guessing only as long as it takes me to get my hands on one since they’re supposed to be available this month.
Listening To The Whole Podcast
As if you haven’t heard enough from me about podcasting, but I think you’ll be interested in this. Especially you, “we have to measure it” types. Podtrac, which claims to have the largest database of demographic information on the people who listen to podcasts just released the results of their quarterly survey. Here’s some interesting findings:
