One of the highlights for me during this week in Italy will always be visiting the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and spending time with the Shroud of Turin. I had free time today before an informal dinner this evening. So this was where I wanted to go. The trip included a subway ride and long walk along the Via Roma toward the Cathedral. That is a big shopping district and reminds me a lot of my time in Rome.
