The NAFB Foundation held it’s annual convention luncheon today and awarded some scholarships.

Here’s Liz LeSatz, University of Wyoming student, who received her check for $4,000 from Acting Secretary of Agriculture Chuck Conner.

I spoke to Liz afterward while she was covering the NAFB Foundation booth which you can find right across from the registration table. Liz says these farm broadcasters here seem to give each other a “hard time.” I don’t know what she means. However, if you were at the luncheon and heard a remark from Pam Jahnke directed at Ken Root then you’d know.
