It’s almost a too late to post this but I think it’s only right to honor the men and women farmers of America who provide such abundance! National Agriculture Day is coordinated by the Agriculture Council of America and it kicks off National Ag Week. We should all be grateful for our safe, abundant food supply.
The Missouri Agricultural Leaders Luncheon is an ad hoc group. That means no membership or staff. Just your handy volunteers which this year are Cindy and myself. We coordinate a meeting monthly that rotates between Jefferson City and Columbia. At our March meeting our new Director of Ag, Fred Ferrell, spoke to over 75 people at Summit Lake Winery.
New Missouri Director of Agriculture, Fred Ferrell. He spoke at a packed luncheon last week. There were over 75 in attendance, a larger than normal crowd. They all wanted to hear from our new Director of Ag and he gave a great speech!

You can see the first one we did today here: NRECA Convention Release This release was sent out nationally from the newsroom. We’re mobile! I can’t …
We just had to post a picture of us at the NRECA convention with our old buddy, “Uncle” Nip Neidert. We worked with Nip at Learfield Communications for many years and he’s still a valued friend and associate. We’re proud of him and the job he’s doing for National Country Market.
