Talk Digger Shows Who’s Linking To You
What a day it has been at ZimmComm. I’m getting ready to hit the road again with my new little Dell notebook and it was giving me fits. In fact, it took a Norton Internet Security tech about an hour to walk me through all the steps necessary to allow Outlook to check and send email! I think I’ve got all the bugs worked out. At the same time Amy’s working on database maintenance and that created a slew of “situations.” Those have all been resolved too.

Dinging Your Way To Your Customers
At the NAMA Agribusiness Forum it was interesting to see a presentation on customer focused marketing from a very non-ag company. Southwest Airlines started Ding earlier this year as a way to interact very closely with their customers. Jill Howard-Allen had quite a few questions after her presentation. I think that people found her presentation to be very different than what they expected.
Kinder, Friendlier Pork Board Website
It’s no longer porkboard.org, now it’s www.pork.org. This is the newly re-designed National Pork Board website. It’s truly a portal to a lot of pork stuff.
